Oh My Oz yusssss, Carmilla is amazing WATCH IT!

Their range of LGBTQIA+ characters are amazing! (I mean, hell, no-one is straight!) They have a genderqueer character who uses them/they pronouns, they have a really female dominant storyline (no boys are coming to the rescue in this!) Plus they say things like 'lets girl up' and wow it just makes me really happy. I wish everything was as LGBTQIA friendly as this!

Each episode is no more than six minutes and there are now thirty four of them. What have you got to lose?! They took me about two and a half hours to watch (and I totally didn't sit and watch them all at once *nervous giggle*)

So yeah basically you've got to watch it, it's great. There's also a Christmas special on Christmas eve.

Oh and did I mention its a YouTube series, so everything is on YouTube for you to watch whenever you want

I love carmilla! everything about it is great and i kinda love that they turned an old novel about the dangers of lesbianism into this amazing feminist show that tries to be very diverse and shows queerness as a thing that exists as oosed to this MASSIVE WEIRD THING that so muvh of the media makes it out to be

 

I can't begin to tell you how much I LOVE the show! The best part of it (Natasha Negovanlis aside lol) is how queer it is and how normal that is portrayed.

Only a few days away from the Christmas special! Can't wait!

 

I enjoyed (enjoy) Carmilla. It was sweet and cute and fun. And LaF is awesome. The representation of sexuality and gender in Carmilla is really refreshing.

I have binge watched the whole series 3 times and I have watched episode 36 several times over (for obvious reasons) plus Natasha and Elise on pillow talk a adorable XD I watched their never have I ever game and I swear XD

I might have a slight crush on Natasha Negovanlis *nervous giggle*

And I love the way that everyone's sexuality and gender is just completely normal, no-one gives a shit (excluding Perry, but she is very obsessive and should be counted as an outliar) and nothing is even mentioned about anything and it's just no big deal because holy shit there's vampires and the school is under attack.

And when LaF is just questioned about not wanting to be called Susan she's just like 'I don't feel like Susan anymore!' And I wanted to high five her.

I ship Hollistein so much <3 I only realised when I went through the comments on YouTube that people shipped Danny and Laura and then as the episodes went on I noticed Carmilla being very possessive over Laura when Danny was around and I was just like STOP IT AND KISS ALREADY.

I may have walked downstairs this morning, opened up the fridge and gone
'There's blood in the milk container. Why is there blood in the milk container?! What is wrong with you people, why would anyone go to this school?!" And stormed out of the room.

Luckily after 14 years my family are used to me being very dramatic.

 

Lol! I tend to quote my favorite shows a lot too (in a slightly less dramatic and cool way, though), but no one ever gets them. :bang:

Oh God! The pillow talk was asfasdhfdhsd. I don't have enough fingers in my body to count how many times I've watched it lol I cracked up whit the chapstick story. They're adorable together... <3

I wish I had just a slightly crush on Natasha... Mine is huge. She made me forgot about Alex Vause, sooo... 'Nuff said.

I have to admit that at first, I was all Laura/Danny but now I'm Hollistein all the way! There were a few Hollistein moments when I almost screamed to my laptop "You two kiss! The tension is unbearable!"

Have you seen the gin-terviews with the cast in Kaitlyn Alexander's YT channel? They're hilarious!

 

No-one in my family actually gets them, but they know it's probably because I obsess over whatever it's from XD

I loved the 'I don't think I have enough fingers to play this game' 'not the first time I've heard that.' And I just almost died. The Chapstick one was amazing too XD

I have so many celebrity crushes it's unreal. I also really love Elise, and I adore loads of actresses from Wicked as well, honestly I'm a mess XD I also have a real life crush on a girl who's a year above me but let's not talk about that XD

I never shipped Laura and Danny, not sure why.

I haven't seen them, but I shall watch them ^^

 

Yeah, I'm loving this show! A little bit obsessed too... especially with Natasha. My Tumblr kinda makes that obvious... Planning to re-watch (again) tonight.

On Pillowtalk I lol'ed when they were like "We're going to put as many fingers as we can fit" and Natasha's like "Two for me, I'm a gentlewoman." Her and Elise are so cute together, both in the show and on Pillowtalk.

I started watching it because they talked about it on the Gay Women Channel. I really love the show!!! I also think it's very interesting how they film it, like they never move the camera. If you want to watch more gay web series, I suggest you watch My Gay Roommate.

I love Carmilla! Such an awesome little show. Hollstein are adorable and I also have a mega crush on Danny (I mean look at her, unnnnf).
