How many songs

I'd say around 300. Though I mostly listen to music online (youtube, deezer, etc.).

Haha, I got 15,000+ songs, I have my digital music collection that I started when I was 14, so it's over a decade old now.

Any song I've ever liked, is on my computer.

It would take over 4 months to listen to everyone.

 

I have 91 songs on my YouTube playlist, and that number is steadily rising.
There is also two songs I have elsewhere (one on MP3, the other on cassette tape) that are not in said playlist, making it 93.

However there are other songs I listen to on YouTube which I do not have on my playlist.

 

0.......I just use YouTube.

 

spotify tells me over 16 thousand. but i know there's a lot more

 

I have 430 on my phone atm. It's not a very large number because I only take the best.

 

Well, I have 195 mp3s on my computer, but I probably have many many more favorites I haven't downloaded or can't download, lol.

 

I have 1876 songs on my iPod at the moment.

 

Damn how do you guys keep up with your songs? Lol and as what kageshiro have mentioned, I tend to be picky when it comes to choosing songs on my phone so I only have about 496.

 

I have about 3,513 currently on my iPhone at the moment.

 

I'm pickier, I have less than 100.

And I only listen to them via YouTube, no songs on my laptop.

 

I would guess the number of songs fluctuated regularly, for most people here. That is why i find this thread somewhat pointless.

*thread* - *thinking of a random number* ...80! Yup, exactly 80, both on my phone, on my PC, notebook and car. Same 80 songs that i play over and over and over and over. Good thing YouTube is here to save the day!

 

2000+ non-classical. I don't listen to all that much popular music and I rarely buy albums, but I do have a number of them.

8000+ classical "songs", but keep in mind a classical track can range anywhere from 20 seconds to 35 minutes. -_-

 

Couldn't even count between soundcloud, itunes and another file sharing site.

 

Just a random question... to the people with 6k+ songs. Do you actually bother to listen to each and every song, as it starts playing, or do you simply rape the "next track" button until you "find" that one song that you actually like?

I'm asking this because, we all know that in a typical "album", not all songs are great, in fact... it's very rare to find an album where at least 75% if that, are great. Most are 50% or 25%. Like, artists these days put a hit or two and the rest is just garbage... And you people here are honestly telling me that you listen to all this crap? Instead of seething trough the garbage and leaving only the good stuff?

 

iTunes says I have 10,853 songs there. Besides this massive iTunes collection, I also have a growing collection of 187 vinyl records (both 7"/12" singles and full albums) (yes I just counted them).

I'm someone who usually listens to full albums only, but 99% of these are artists who don't care about putting out a hit or two but care about the album as a whole (read: I'm not into mainstream pop).

 

iTunes tells me I'm just over 20,000 at the moment.
