I am going to see it in 16 days and I just want to screech and run around!

I am so excited, I've wanted to see it for ages! And I'm going on the 11th of November and I literally just can't even....

Has anyone else here seen it? Particularly the UK tour? I'll be seeing Ashleigh Gray as Elphaba and Emily Tierney as G(a)linda, have any of you seen them?

I listened to Ashleigh Gray's Defying Gravity and wow, her voice is absolutely stunning, it gave me shivers and I was listening to it through a pair of barely working earphones, I can't even imagine what it will be like when I'm actually there

The only annoying thing is that I have my first part of a French GCSE assessment on the 12th of November >.< so I'm practically counting down to my French exam. French ruins everything XD

I've not seen the UK tour, so I've not seen those actresses; however, I have seen the London production five times and it was epic every single time.

You have excellent taste. Wicked is the best musical EVER. You're going to have an awesome time.

I'm going with my drama group for practice for mock GCSEs, but we've already looked at defying gravity and some of the techniques used in that, and I can already tell that I am going to love it  I think it's going to be one of those ones that I wish I could see every day for the rest of my life.

I'm so excited I've learned the names of most of the current cast and am memorizing as many facts as I can XD

I got to see it on Broadway in NY, but Idina Menzel wasn't in it that day! It was still an unforgettable marvel that is worth screeching and running around lol.

No part of it was less than lovable and wildly entertaining.

I saw Idina Menzel play Elphaba on Broadway. Unfortunately Kristen Chenoweth had just left the show--my partner did a couple shows with her way back in the day and was very much looking forward to seeing her. She literally left the show after we bought the tickets but before we went. It's a great show! Enjoy it!

I would actually give anything to see Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth play Elphaba and G(a)linda <3

But I am so happy to be able to go and see it, I've wanted to for years <3

Oh God now I'm even more excited XD there is literally no hope for me XD

If it's anything near as amazing as the lion king (which it sounds like it is) I'm going to be an emotional train wreck for a few weeks XD

    15 days 4 hours 56 minutes and 35 seconds
Not that I'm counting or anything XD

Have not seen it, BUT I've read the book, and I absolutely *love* it!

I would like to see the musical...my only fear is that it won't do justice to the book...but my understanding is that it's pretty good as its own thing.

Anyway, I'm excited for you...love every second!

Okay, first off Wicked is amazing, I'm a massive fan and I've heard the UK touring cast are excellent. You're from Portsmouth- I'm from the Isle of Wight! So I think I can guess where you're seeing it  - have fun! I'm pretty sure you'll love it.

BiAnnika> The book is a lot different from the play, in terms of the way characters are portrayed (I'm not sure about plot because I don't want to spoil it for myself XD) But Elphaba is portrayed as a lot more likeable character, I know that. I haven't actually read the book though. *adds that to list of things to do* Thank you

Spartan 117> Yep, I'm seeing it in the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton ^^ At 7:30pm, so it'll end at about 10:15pm so that's a late night for me XD But I am extremely excited for it!

Stormborn> I'd love to see it on broadway some time XD in fact if love to go and see it as many times as possible in as many different places as I can XD

I took this screenshot of my countdown timer last night and my heart rate hasn't returned to normal yet, over 12 hours later XD imgur: the simple image sharer

I've never seen it done professionally but I was in it in school, we did a production of it, and it was a really cool experience! I was Nessarose

Its a musical. Fantasy. The backstory of the witches of Oz, basically. It's amazing!

I saw it two years ago on Broadway and loved it omfg. Though admittedly I still prefer the books as far as the story goes. As much as I loved the overall production I can't deny that the story was a bit of a mess.

I have asked my mum to get me the book! I am aware that there are some very graphic sexual scenes (which are apparently very unnecessary) and also some very adult themes but... I am 14 and if people my age are reading 50 shades of grey and actually having sex, I'm pretty sure I can handle it. I'm barely the most immature 14 year old you've ever met XD besides if it's that bad I just won't read it. I can't imagine it being that terrible though!

8 days to go  still very excited!
