    Like...I'm dying.

I wasn't really that big of a TSwift fan before. But I've heard "Shake It Off" on the radio over the past month or two and was hooked on it so when I saw 1989 for sale at work I decided to pick it up. Given, earlier that day, I had heard "Blank Space" on the radio on my way to work for the first time and literally cried. I don't usually cry.

I've been listening to it all day today and I'm amazed. It's not like anything I've heard in a long time and not to be cliche but it made me feel feelings. I think it's a really interesting look at how her music has evolved over time and it's just amazing, okay.

I was going to make this thread but you beat me to it:slight_smile: It has been sold out at every store in my city. Got it through Amazon yesterday. OMG!! Miss. Swift does it again! 1989 is INSANELY good!! I love Blank Page, Style, Wildest Dreams (I almost cried, so beautiful), and Wonderland the most.

I was also born in 1989, two days before Taylor.

It was a pretty eventful year. Poland got some sort-of-free elections, the Soviets pulled out from Afghanistan, Romania ceases being communist, the Berlin Wall falls, free elections in Hungary, democracy in Chile, good year.

I listened to it yesterday and wow New Romantics, style, welcome to New York and wildest dream are really good. I don't get the feels from her music though it's to happy and upbeat for me to cry

Bought the physical copy for my sister, as she is a HUGE fan of Taylor Swift. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of her music too.

'Welcome to New York' is definitely one of my favorites because it a dream of mine to move to New York one day. It's a silly dream, but one I believe can happen.

'Blank Space' has a very nice beat, and the way she talks about her love life, lyrically, is clever!

The beginning of 'Style' draws you in with the instrumentals. The guitar, the bass, the drums, it all meshes well in this track.

We all know 'Shake It Off' is the 'feel good' song of the album. The go-to song for when you need some motivation.

Holy crap, 'Bad Blood', is an all-around good song. I don't know if I like the lyrics or the music more!

It wasn't my intention to attempt an album review, haha, but yes, I'm officially obsessed with 1989! Taylor Swift never ceases to amaze me!

Right there with ya, littlemonster11! I have yet to hear a song by her that I don't love. She could make a rap or heavy metal album and I'd buy it:slight_smile: And I don't like either genre.
