The original version of Cardcaptors Sakuras friend Tomayo is a lesbian with an innocent romantic crush on Sakura, thats why she records her and has her dress up i costumes.

 

AI MAI MI its short its fluffed up and there is yuri in it . also Project A-ko is a good anime with a bit of yuri and parody

 

Just to clarify, you mean ANIME and not HENTAI...
I have a list of both... With the latter being mostly gay... :icon_redf

 

Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl, Strawberry Panic, YuruYuri, and Sakura Trick.

I bet you can find a pretty long list online too.

Also, anime like Kanamemo and Kin'iro Mosaic have hints of lesbianism.

I recommend finding a list somewhere and looking each up to see if they sound interesting to you.

 

Maria sama ga miteru - it starts out slow and a lot of it is subtle, but it's a good anime. And you gotta love Sei.
Sweet Blue Flowers - one of my favorite yuri animes. Has a coming out scene where the main character comes out to her friend, which I thought was well done. Overall a good romance story.
Madlax - the story is not focused on romance, still a good one. Madlax and Vanessa <3
Hitohira - not classed as yuri, but I was getting some yuri vibes from it lol. A nice slice of life anime.

 

Yuri, great... not my cup of tea, but, whatever.

I don't know if any one has siad this yet. But strawberry panic is one of the best yuri animes ever even if the Manga kind of sucks also you might want to try watching hetalia becase they do mention homosexualty evry now and thin and a majority of the ships for the show are yaoi/yuri

 

I love Kashimashi: Girl meets Girl. Also, if you want cute, there's Ichigo Marshmallow.

 

Any lesbian anime on Netflix??? I prefer English dubbed.

 

Kannazuki no Miko. Is. Amazing.
Seriously, the first time I finished watching it, I went right back to the first episode and watched it again. It was so good. Careful when looking it up though, don't want to run into spoilers. That would really suck and ruin a lot of the magic of it.

 

Loveless is focused on a gay ...couple, but there's also a really cute lesbian couple in it.
And of course if you want a classic, Sailor Moon is good. Uranus is intersex in the manga and she and Michiru are lovers in the manga and the Japanese version. (Basically anytime a dub claims characters are "cousins" they're either gay for each other or have an arranged marriage awaiting them in their future. Perfect example is Card Captor Sakura, Tomoyo is her 'cousin' [gay], Shaoran and Meiling are 'cousins' [engaged]. )

 

少女革命ウテナ (Revolutionary Girl Utena) is a fairly good anime. The main character is bisexual, and it's a genuinely good anime.
I'd recommend watching the Japanese version, as the dubbed version isn't good. I don't think there are subbed versions of every episode, though, so you may need know a bit of Japanese (like me)

I gotta watch some of the series listed on here, They sound great!

 

Sakura Trick is my favorite anime and as such I 100% agree with that recommendation

 

My favourite is the manga Lonely Wolf Lonely Sheep..<3 ^-^

 

- Simoun is another one, although it's quite hard to find
- Blue Drop which is relatively new
- Madlax - I think someone mentioned it before, I'd add Noir and El Cazador de la Bruja which are from the same studio . It's a 'girls with guns' trilogy.
- Canaan might be another one, I guess there's something between Marie and Canaan...
- Devilman Lady, quite old (1999) but interesting
- Kampfer I suppose but I've found it quite bad
- Mai-Hime of course (and later ones as well Mai-Otome etc) because of NatsukixShizuru
- Daughters of Mnemosyne
- Sasameki Koto (I do prefer manga because anime kinda left off on a cliffhanger)
- Traveller Yami, Hat and Book - I'm not sure but I always think that it features the main character from Kannazuki no Miko (the blue heard girl) hm...

There are also some that I haven't seen but which I know feature shoujo-ai theme
- Touka Gettan
- Red Garden
- Kiddy Grade
- Rumbling Hearts

Also Sasameki Koto is a good lesbian anime. Plus Sweet Blue Flowers, also my favorite anime.
