Has anyone of you heard about Coeur de Pirate (Pirate's Heart in English)? Her name is Béatrice Martin and she's Quebecoise, from Montreal, and now lives in Toronto. I really think she's awesome due to the fact that she has really good songs with meaning, she plays piano like a goddess, and her vocals are amazing too (she sounds exactly like she does in her songs, no autotune). Oh yeah, and her is English is PERFECT! No accent, absolutely flawless. My favorite songs of hers are: Francis, Place de la République, La Petite Mort, Hôtel Amour, Cap Diamant, and Golden Baby. Merci! Elle est magnifique, ne cest pas! Thanks for introducing her! Sounds awesome. I love the sound of French.
I fell in love with her after hearing the soundtrack she composed for the game "Child of Light." Also loved the track that she sang for it.
She's amazing! I went to a concert she gave a while ago (before she was that popular) and it was great!
YES! I LOVE HER. It's so nice to see people interested in French as much as I am! This is a completely different genre... but I found this musician to be just as great: MONSIEUR NOV -TROP FRESH (OFFICIEL VIDEO) - YouTube
