I listen to mainly Metal and Classic Rock.
Bands: Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Ozzy Osbourne, Guns & Roses, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, (I used to listen to Nickelback, I got bored after listening to them for 12 years. They got worse over the years.), uhm... That's about it.

So, can anyone here come up with a good band for me to listen to? .3.

Radiohead, but you'd probably be more into their first couple of albums, (Pablo Honey, The Bends) but who knows...I think you'd also be interested in System of a Down and Husker Du

I was gonna give System of a Down a try, Well, a better try. I only listened to one song and I forgot the name.

Hey, glad to see someone who shares similar music taste.

Jimi Hendrix is pretty good. And the majority of the NWOBHM bands (which I see you like.)

Your music taste was very similar to my high school best friend.

I remember he was also into Metallica, Whitesnake, White Lion, Alice Cooper and Led Zeppelin... hmm maybe some Bon Jovi and ZZ Top as well.

Some of my most beloved metal songs introduced me by him... Transylvania from Iron Maiden and Night Crawler by Judas Priest and most of Alice Cooper's work.

Heh added a vid for you to check out Mr. Cooper.

I tend to listen to more extreme metal. Have you heard like the first 3 minutes of this video? Also, you might want to try some classical music because it has a VERY similar feeling to Heavy metal!

Alice in Chains, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, Metallica, System of A Down, Nine Inch Nails, are probably all bands, that you would enjoy. If you'd like my own personal favorite songs, from each of these, let me know, and I'll provide some links.

Green Day? Maybe the album Danger Days by MCR. They're a great band all around but that and their first album are the most Rock. Heroes by David Bowie. Led Zepellin. Also my friends dad conducted an entire concert with just versions of inagadadavida. It was awesome. There was this one band from sweden and their version was called In the Garden of Sweden

You should definitely check out Dinosaur Jr. Especially the album "You're Living All Over Me" or if you just want a single song: "Sludgefeast"

They combine classic rock guitar emphasis with alt rock and bits of shoegaze without being shoegaze, if that makes sense :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
