Anybody into Metal?

    I feel like there aren't too many LGTBQ metalheads out there, but I would love to be proven wrong! If there are any metalheads or fans of metal out there, what are your favorite genres (i.e. death, black, thrash, prog)? What are your favorite bands? I love death and black metal in particular. My favorite bands are Cannibal Corpse, Carnifex, Carach Angren, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Woods of Ypres.

    I like metal, too :grin: I like death, black, and rap metal. My favorite band of all time is the rap metal band Rage Against the Machine. Some other favorites of mine are Cannibal Corpse, Vader, and White Zombie.

    I faintly remember seeing you post about bands such as Sabaton? That's one of my fave bands. You listen to some awesome music.

    My fave Metal genres = Death, Black, Power, and Industrial. Although I sure listen to others as well.

    I'm crazy about Death Metal. I've been completely and utterly hooked since age 14/15. It blew my mind even more than bands such as Slayer and Iron Maiden! I'd have to live under a rock, to be unaware of Cannibal Corpse. They're very reliable. Of course I'm digging their latest album.

    I love Carach Angren. I've listened to a lot of Symphonic Black Metal. Some examples would be; Emperor, Anorexia Nervosa, Limbonic Art, Vesania, Bal-Sagoth, Stormlord, Bishop Of Hexen, Dragonlord, Suffering Souls, Chaosweaver, Lemuria... and of course I've listened to Cradle of Filth. Also, a hell of a lot of Avant-garde Metal bands that incorporate similar elements into their music.

    I love The Black Dahlia Murder. Especially their Nocturnal album.

    I've never heard anything by Carnifex, but I like Deathcore.

    I'm hardly acquainted with Woods of Ypres, only heard a few songs in some Black Metal video mixes. Although it always restores my faith in humanity to see somebody else listen to Xasthur! It might seem depressive to some, but I like the intense feelings within such music.

    I like a ton of metal, like Lightbringer, Skywings, Anthem, Loudness, Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, Manowar, Exodus, Pharaoh and White Wizzard, to name a few of the bands I like.
