You haven't seen a thread like this because they usually die out, due to the way TV Shows/Movies (and similar) "work". People don't have a set "favorite". It's something you currently watch and enjoy watching.

It's not feasible to have a "favorite" as that would mean you actually enjoy watching it over and over and over again, which is not something a lot of people do. It's the same concept with threads like "favorite music".

That being said, a more appropriate question would be - "What TV shows do you enjoy watching at the moment." To which my reply is...

Far too many to list here... I'm somewhat bummed out they stopped "Perception" as that was quite interesting.

 

I will separate them into ones that are still on and ones that are not on air anymore.

No longer on Air: Xena: Warrior Princess, Beauty and The Beast (Original Series 1987), The Golden Girls, All My Children, Designing Women, Saved By The Bell, ER, Greek, Queer as Folk, 7th Heaven, Touched By An Angel, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman (Havent seen this one..Check it out)

Still Airing: Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, The Walking Dead, Bar Rescue, Kitchen Nightmare, All of the Real Housewives franchises minus Miami, DC and Melbourne, Once Upon A Time

 

I disagree with that. I do have favorites. Whether I enjoy rewatching them or not, I just base it on how much I enjoyed watching it. Compared to others.

That being said, my favorite shows are:
Death Note: this is something I would watch again sometime. But so far only watched once. Though I also read the manga, and watched the movies a few times each, lol.

Smallville: not sure if it is something I will watch again, considering how long the series is... But I loved watching it. It is incredible.

DN Angel: I actually own this show on DVD. I watched it twice. And I will watch it more then that in the future. Really cool show.

 

Even by Shinji's definition, my favourite is Sherlock

Right now it's Once Upon a Time, really enjoying the current season!

I rewatch shows a lot actually, and I know other people that do too.

I have a lot of shows I like but my favorites are Sherlock, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, How I Met Your Mother, and The Office

 

I love Friends! I think it's the funniest thing ever and I've watched it all many many times now. I'm now considering picking up Games of Thrones just because I love Lena Headey so much!

The Walking Dead! I've never actually been interested in a TV series before but I follow this religiously.

 

The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, House of Cards, Breaking Bad...

Also sitcoms like Friends (of course), How I met your mother, Two and a half men (when Charlie Sheen was in the show)

 

At the moment Supernatural and also very much looking to new season of Lost Girl.

 

I absolutely love Death Note...I don't really watch TV though ^__^
