    Hi!
What are your favorite books based on LGBT teens? My favorite - well, the only one I've read so far - is Keeping You a Secret by Julie Anne Peters.
Got any other books for me?
    Thanks!(*hug*)

not based on teens but one of the main characters in The Mirage by Matt Ruff is a closeted gay man.

The Mirage (Ruff novel) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If I recall correctly it is Samir. he ends up being threatened to be outed if he doesn't do something for Saddam Hussein (I won't spoil what)

Miseducation of Cameron Post was pretty good. It touches on a lot of aspects of being a queer girl in a very Bible Belt ish environment. Not to mention the fucked-up nature of conversion therapy.

    So far I've read

    Keeping you a Secret
    Annie on my Mind
    Blue is the Warmest Color
    Pages for You
    Girl Walking Backwards
    Empress of the World
    The Miseducation of Cameron Post

Keeping you a secret is by far my favorite. But the only one that I didn't really enjoy too much was empress of the world. I enjoyed the rest.

I think my favorite is probably the Little Boy Lost series by JP Barnaby. It surprised me with some extremely detailed, intense sex scenes, but the story itself was wonderful and I loved the main characters.

My favorite is Waterways by Kyell Gold. It's a bildungsroman (coming-of-age novel) about Kory Hedley, an eighteen-year-old boy who meets another boy and starts questioning himself. I really love it because Kory is similar to me in real life; Honors English student, likes to write, doesn't like to show emotion in public, but kind of shy and awkward.

Some others I've read (* indicates explicit content):
the Dangerous Spirits series (2, third on the way) by Kyell Gold
the Out of Position series* (4, fifth on the way) by Kyell Gold
    Blue is the Warmest Color*
the Rainbow Boys series (3) by Alex Sanchez
    Geography Club
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Heretic* by A. T. Adams (AKA Rukis)
Off the Beaten Path* by A. T. Adams

I'll be honest a lot of people say keeping you a secret was a great book and I didn't find it that good at all...just a personal opinion. My favorite is Annie on my mind
