    Complete formula of generic magical girl anime, with cute clothing, heart shaped accessories, magical wands, fancy transformation scene, and a little mascot character. Just that all the protagonists are male.

    And I know that there are probably people are interested in this...there are also those compulsory fan service shower scenes:

    Seriously thought. Plot looks really shitty, even for an anime, and that is saying much! I mean, i get that they are trying to get away with showing eye candy (much like Free! did), but... there should be at least some plot?!

    Also, the whole concept seems a bit over the top.

    Notice, i've never actually watched Magical Girl, to "get" the reference.

    I'll just leave this here... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Though real examples of "magical boys" do exist out there like the male sailor scouts (well, they turned into girls when they transformed but still) but I think this is mostly more a parody of Pretty Cure, since they have become the power rangers of the magical girl world... And their color scheme... and teamness... kind of reeks of Super Sentai (power rangers) parody as well... but idk I haven't watched it yet, just some cursory observations and assumptions based on that picture. xD
