Celebrities you can't stand

See, that's the thing... It would take a lot of time and effort to list all the "bad" celebrities. Especially hard if you decide to generalize them without giving any actual explanation about why your opinion is so low of them.

/thread - Everyone on Youtube with 1m+ subscribers. Because most of them turn out to be sellouts and drop the quality significantly with time. And then you get all this annotations that lead to places you don't even care about and the constant "please subscribe!". I am already subscribed, stop hammering it down... Oh and the obvious add at the start, as if the default (Google) one wasn't bad enough already. It's not like the content is even all that original, most of them copy one another.

 

Not taking into account the world's various Royal Families...

-Marilyn Manson because he's an attention seeking twat
-Lady Gaga because she's also an attention seeker but to add to that I find her incredibly pretentious
-Henry Rollins because he's a hypocritical nutcase who sounds like a bitter Sergeant Major
-Simon Calder because he's made a career out of stating the obvious and he goes about it in a smug way
-Hugh Grant. Complete wanker, need I say more?

 

Justin Bieber because I'm more mature then him and I'm 15.
Joan Rivers because she thought she could make fun of the way people look when she looked like a barbie that was thrown in a microwave.
PewDiePie (if he counts), because all he does is scream and speak Swedish.
Most celebrities because they aren't Harrison Ford or Clint Eastwood.

 

I try not to judge people I don't even know, but that being said it seems like a lot of celebraties let the money and attention get their head.

50 Cent is a bit of a contradiction. He has been both extremely homophobic at times and supportive of the homosexual community at others.

I think in order to understand why he acts how he does we have to appreciate that he has faced some homophobic bullying himself (several other rappers provoking him by calling his sexuality into question) and media rumours to the same effect so I believe a lot of his homophobic rants are posturing and him being defensive (I'll point out I don't think he is gay, he is just reacting to what he perceives as "attacks").

Its similar to the playground bully who bullies to make himself feel tough - really they are weak and its a coping mechanism for them feeling insecure or threatened.

Now in an ideal world it would be nice to see him say "so what if you think I'm gay, thats not an insult, theres nothing wrong with that", but I think he sees the hip hop world as very narrow-minded so that they'd take that as an "admission".

 

Tom Cruise.

Perez Hilton. He shouldn't even count as a celebrity but he's awful and I can't stand him.
Lena Dunham. This one's a bit too complicated to explain but she annoys me.
Pretty much anyone who's super right-wing and homophobic.
Marilyn Manson, all he does is use shock value to try and get attention.
Most people that got famous through YouTube annoy me.
Justin Bieber for obvious reasons.
Jennifer Lawrence kind of annoys me too.

Good grief, yes. I'd hardly call myself an active user of YT and even I see this.

 

I completely applaud the choice, but just pointing out that she shouldn't be helps keep her name out there, which keeps her in the spotlight. its a never ending cycle.

Justin Bieber, I've never read anything positive about him, just his latest idiocy.
Nicki Minaj, I don't need to have her backside thrust in my face every 5 minutes.

I can't stand Katy Perry 3/4 of the time.

Her music is so bad. Especially that birthday song. I still don't understand what the big balloons are. (Jk)

I also can't stand Jason Derulo. His music is the absolute worst. Everytime Trumpets comes on the radio I become homicidal.

 

I'd agree with just about everyone listed EXCEPT PewDiePie. While I think his material is INCREDIBLY obnoxious and grating, he seems like a legitimately nice guy and does charity stuff often. I'll throw in Phil Robertson and Bill O'Reilly.
