    I know who u voted for :wink: I voted for her too bc her music isn't always about love and I can realte to it. Taylor swift all she sings about is love and all her songs sound the same.

    I keep mistaking Carrie Underwood for Carrie Brownstein who plays in Sleater-Kinney and is overall amazing.

    But I voted neither. Both Ms Underwood and Ms Swift don't make my kind of music.

    So am I the only who is sharing why they like Taylor? Haha ok then I selected her by default I'm not a BIG fan of Carrie underwood but I've heard like one of her songs, and I've only recently become a fan of Taylor's, I LOOOVE shake it off, I'm actually listening to it RIGHT NOW and I am obsessed with blank space :slight_smile: she's In my opinion a very talented individual and I love that she hasn't stuck to one genre of music, that she's jumpi around and looking for something she likes :slight_smile: im not obsessed with her but I absolutely loved her most recent album 1989 :slight_smile:

    Tay :love: I didn't always care for her and I'm not a huge fan now, but she has made a graceful transition from country-ish into pop that is surprisingly decent. If I had to choose between the two, Taylor every time. Plus she is probably in the top five most beautiful women on the planet as far as I'm concerned, which doesn't hurt lol.

    I liked Blown Away, and maybe it's just my taste in music, but it didn't seem to be enough. What I mean is that it doesn't go anywhere; she says the same chorus and uses the same progression throughout for a very simplistic song.

    It's a common complaint I have though, and I do try to give it credit. I just prefer songs with more variety/content in them. Just a bridge or slight adjustment to the words usually does the trick. A good example is found in "Shake It Off" actually. The monotony is broken up in a few places which makes it more interesting to listen to beginning to end.
