The very best pop rock songs

    Basically this thread is for excellent pop rock songs, so anyone who wants can listen to stuff they haven't heard before and I can freshen my itunes.

    For pop rock I basically mean guitar based music which sounds like a pop song aka the type of thing you're likely to hear on the radio. They don't have to have been commercially successful they just have to have that pop feel

    eg
    The Smiths - This Charming Man
    The Cure - Lovecats
    The Strokes - Last Nite
    Weezer - Buddy Holly

    Hmm, I was going to say West Coast by Lana Del Rey, but she's more Alternative/Indie Rock... but give her a try :slight_smile: Her music is not for everybody, but it grows on to you after you listen to her songs a couple of times.

    I think it'd be more pop punk but I actually enjoy some of Good Charlottes songs. Especially Girls & Boys.
