I'd like to know what everyone's favorite cartoon was when you were a little kid, mine was probably Rocko's Modern Life, or Kappa Mikey.

I really loved and still love Recess, Kim Possible and Winx Club. Those are my favorites and I always dropped everything to watch them

It is okay on my account, like I said it was old and we have many new active faces around. It would be nice to hear what they like.

When I was really little, my favorite was Arthur, but as a kid my favorite had to be Spongebob.

In the early 70s, as a wee 'un, I loved the Banana Splits. They showed cartoons between the segments. Oddly, the only thing that holds up after all these years were the songs they "performed".

Later on, I liked the Godzilla cartoon. This one really doesn't hold up at all - it's terrible. That said, this period (late 70s - early 80s) is usually considered the worst time for cartoons in the United States.

I also liked Wacky Races, although it wasn't on very reliably where I lived. A handful of gimmicky "race cars" would compete in a race every episode. I now have it on DVD, and again, not much to recommend here.

Soon after the 80s, I started getting into anime. It wasn't called that back then, as far as I know, and it wasn't the easiest thing to track down. One channel had "Battle of the Planets", a poorly-redubbed version of G-Force. The American distributor was forced to cut out all of the violence from the episodes, resulting in some really short episodes, padded out with a robot that had nothing to do with the original series. But it was still better than most of what was on.

One channel had Captain Harlock...still in Japanese, but with subtitles...in Chinese. Seriously. But my brother and I watched anyway.

Sometime around the mid 80s, cartoons started getting better. The Disney Afternoon sort of heralded the point when they were finally worth watching again. Talespin was my favorite...well, at least until Gargoyles debuted.

    A bunch!

Rocket Power, Spongebob, Totally Spies, Animaniacs, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, and Tiny Toon Adventures the most.

As a kid - Transformers, GI Joe, Masters of the Universe Rainbow Brite, and I really liked the Original My Little Pony film with Rhea Pearlman as the voice of the evil witch.

I also will add as I was growing up I liked Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Bonkers, Tale Spin and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I also thought the baddie in Care Bears was really cool (No Heart I believe is name was)

As teen I really liked Arthur because I was into books and caught all the classic lit references in it. Yes, that was embarrassing to admit.
