Hi i'm bored and i want to watch movies but i've run out of ideas. i like movies that make you think about life, that make you sort of guess the ending (like inception) and funny ones. the last ones i've seen are boyhood, tomboy and 22 jump street

I watched The Prestige recently, it's one with enough curveballs to keep you guessing, and my guess is you'll love it if you liked Inception.

If you like way out there inappropriate humor I'd suggest Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, and Postal.

I'd also suggest Clerks, Slap Shot, Dogma, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Team America: World Police, and Detroit Rock City

    Gah I love Inception.

Source Code, Black Swan, Snowpiercer (does come with a warning that it's a bit disturbing), and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind off the top of my head.

I recommend Shutter Island and The Departed. Both are stories which have endings you wouldn't expect. Especially Shutter Island.

Gran Torino is one of my favourites. Definitely check that one out, too.

Watch the original and not the directors cut. Kept me thinking for a long time after the film.

    This one's really depressing

Shed some light on a situation you may not be fully aware of, and it does make you think about it(illegal immigration)

A movie to keep you guessing that I just think is excellently made

Looks like another dumb action movie but it actually isn't

Kinda aweird movie but it dives into identity
