Just felt like sharing this with everyone. Well, this is Harisu, and she is one of my idols. She's a pop star from Korea; singer, dancer, actress, model. But what makes her so spectacular is her beauty. Why? Harisu was born a guy. ^.^ Her success made her the first transgendered star in Korea, and it inspired the formation of the group Lady in Korea; the first all-transgendered band in the world. For those who don't know, Korea is a conservative country, so subjects like homosexuality are kept from the media, as is anything mildly sexual (music videos can be banned for showing a woman's bare back). Harisu also became only the second person in the country to have their gender legally changed. Harisu has been a role model for many people in Korea since the beginning of her career, and she even got married in 2006. Lady was less succssful and disbanded after two years and only releasing one album, but they inspired the formation of the group Venus Flytrap in Thailand, which is still going today.
