Yeah so just post your Favourite lyrics and then indicate who sings it you never know someone out there could have the same line of that one song stuck in they're head too. Like "I woke up like this" - Beyonce...I mean who doesn't wake up and chant that to the bathroom. Hahah okay maybe not everyone.

Tonight, I'm staying alive. Kicking and Screaming.
Tonight, I'm staying alive. But boiling and streaming.
Did all things far too dark to comprehend.
Sleep all day, one more night. One more night.

    Cusive: Staying Alive.

Their album ugly organ, just saying, best album. That whole album is the best song.

From Close my eyes by Mariah carey...the whole song has meaning for me but that part was really beautiful.

    Guardian angel I
    Sail away on an ocean
    With you by my side
    Orange clouds roll by
    They burn into your image
    And you're still alive
    (You're always alive)

One that always makes me laugh is "if ya wake up in the morning in somebody else's room room, blame it on the boom boom" (Black Stone Cherry's Blame It On The Boom Boom)

My favourites though would have to be "don't waste your time or time will waste you" (Muse's Knights Of Cydonia) and "seize the day or die regretting the time you lost" (Avenged Sevenfold's Seize The Day)

This one is a beautiful song, probably about someone who's partner has dementia. Also, it was written gender-neutral.

In the End by Black Veil Brides
There's more but right now these work for me.

My favorite lyrics and songs tend to shift often, but here are the current moment's.

"And I'll pull your crooked teeth, You'll be perfect just like me" - The Smashing Pumpkins." Ava Adore.

"Dim my eyes, If they should compromise, Our fulcrum, Wants and needs divide me then I might as well be gone." - Tool "Jambi"

"Keep on runnin' in the dark, Dude ranch dream is fallin' apart, Stolen kisses, let's pretend my friend, You play sick and I will mend." -Sonic Youth "Dude Ranch Nurse"

"Ambition makes you look pretty ugly, Kicking and squealing gucci little piggy" -Radiohead "Paranoid Android"

    A destination, a fading smile
    Another station, another mile
Another day gone, I swore that I will
    Be there before dawn!
    So be there, I will!

I heard these lyrics in a Rise Against song. I just like these words for their simplicity, I don't remember the rest of the song, it's just this bit that always stuck with me. These words convey a closeness between two people which manifests in an oath for one to see the other. That's all there is to it: care for another person, determination to fulfill a promise. Beautiful.

GENESIS - the phoenix syndrome from Season Of Ghosts

    "Watch me rise above you.
    Smash this blinding illusion
    And your lies.
    Un-creating sadness.
Hear me when I tell you
    I know better than believing
    in madness.
I am reborn, I am revolution!"

Make it Stop (September's Children) from Rise Against

"It's always darkest just before the dawn.
So stay awake with me. Let's prove them wrong!"

Pretty much the entire song. But I like that spot most.
And the entire song of "Conversation With A Rock Star"from Icon For Hire.

Lyrics to make me pumped and ready to take on a challenge.

    I sit by the harbour
    Sea calls to me
    I hide in the water
    But I need to breathe

You are an ocean wave, my love
    Crashing at the bow
I am a galley slave, my love
If only I could find out the way
To sail you, maybe I'll just stow away

    I've been run aground
    So sad for a sailor
    I felt safe and sound
    But needed the danger

You are an ocean wave, my love
    Crashing at the bow
I am a galley slave, my love
If only I could find out the way
To sail you, maybe I'll just stow away

    Crashing at the bow
I am a galley slave, my love
If only I could find out the way
To sail you, maybe I'll just stow away

    Stow away, stow away
