Woo! I'm dating someone in the movies!!

... almost.

The entire High School Musical series has been filmed in Salt Lake City, UT just down the street from The Jew's (a.k.a. Sal's house). Well, before he left for Germany he was asked to be an extra in the third movie. Sal loves HSM, so he said yes without one single thought of whether or not he might actually be in the movie...

Well guess what... he is!

It's a super short appearance, but you can see him clearly.

So if you've seen HSM 3, you might've seen him. He was used in the opening basketball scene, the graduation scene where everyone forms a red and white wildcat (he was part of the ear) and the spring musical scene.
The only time you can see him is during the spring musical. If you've seen the movie and during Troy's entrance for the musical you saw a guy in a light purple dress shirt and a purple tie turn around and overact to some girl in the row behind him, you saw my Jew.
Yes indeed, Salvadore Daniel Maciel was in a movie with Zac Efron...

I had a panic attack when I saw him because we had convinced ourselves that Zac's gorgeous head would have blocked him from the shot. Not so!

I thought the same thing until I saw the third movie

 

Okay, so Sal had a fling with a guy who worked at the hotel all of the stars (minus Corbin and Monique) stayed at before he left for Germany.
He had a fling with the guy for that reason alone... So the guy told him a lot about what went down in the hotel.

So here's the dirt:
Ashley Tisdale is pretty much the nicest person you'll ever meet.
Zac Efron, when not on set, wandered around wearing a hunter orange hoodie, basketball shorts, huge aviators and old dirty moccasins. He didn't take care of himself and to sum it up, his hair and skin glistened with oil.
Vanessa Hudgeons is probably the dumbest girl you'll ever meet. For instance, while rehearsing a scene, Kenny told Zac not to put weight on the railing because it wasn't screwed down yet (Sal saw this happen). Vanessa heard this, cocked her head as if confused... and then she went over to the railing and wiggled it. Sure enough it wasn't screwed down yet. So she called to Zac and told him not to put weight on the railing because it wasn't screwed down yet.
Okay... Corbin and Monique stayed at a different hotel because they apparently find themselves better than all of the others.
Kenny Ortega, the director, is a gross old man. All of the featured dancers were his little boy toys, and the guy that Sal had a fling with was given an extra key to Kenny's room with instructions to give it to the featured dancers after filming was done for the day. It's crazy what people will do to be in the movies...
And Monique... oh lord... her's is the best.
She met a bellboy (a friend of the boy Sal had a fling with) at the hotel where she was staying and they had a fling too. They eventually had sex... without a condom... and he came inside her.
So the next morning, the bellboy was sent to get the 'morning after' pill as a precautionary.
