Any Elton John fans? I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan, but I do enjoy some of his music, with my favorite song being: "Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road"
Like you Kaiser, not a huge fan, but I have been known to hum along to the EJ song. The last time I heard him sing was awful though. I think his voice is failing with age.
I also never been a huge fan. He is very talented tho'... every new work featuring his work makes me appreciate him more. Find this song very empowering... and video upper cheesy and I have to admit it makes me giggle everytime I watch it. Just heard his Crocodile Rock song on the radio on the way to work this morning. There's something about his earlier music that was just perfect for the time.
My dad is a huge fan, and that passed onto me. I think my favorite will always be "Saturday Night's Alright for fighting" but his works in The Lion King were top notch, as well. I also love "bitch is back" and his rendition of "Pinball Wizard"

I really like when he sings On the Trail We Blaze. You know, the one used in the Road to Eldorado movie.
I am a HUGE fan of his music and have seen him in concert several times and he was awesome. I am an avid collector of his music catalog and the thing is...he is still as relevant as he was when his first national release. He is what I considered a music icon.
While we're at it, pay tribute to Bernie Taupin, the lyricist who made the most compelling hits possible. Taupin's genius and John's arrangement brilliance and unique vocal talent produced an incomparable level of creativity.
"Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" is my #1 favorite song of all time and "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" is one of my top 10 favorite slow songs of all time. Overall, he's my third favorite artist ever.
