We know that Firefox doesn't look so great on Windows Vista, right? (At least not when compared to IE7 or Chrome, both of which look much more native). So here are a couple tricks to make the foxy look good on Vista, that is, more or less like in the picture below. First of all, a warning. This works on Windows Vista only. These add-ons are good but not good enough to give you glassy effects on XP, lol. We'll use three add-ons to accomplish this. Glasser (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7336) will provide the glassy effect, while Hide Menubar (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4762) will hide the menu bar so that it doesn't interfere with our nice Aero interface. The Strata Reloaded theme will provide the Vista-like bookmarks bar and some nice icons. First of all, you need a free Mozilla account, which you can get here. You need one because Glasser is an "experimental" add-on, and Mozilla requires registration to get such add-ons. It seems to be quite stable, though. Once you get your account and are logged in, get Glasser here. Once it's installed, get Hide Menubar here. Then get Strata Reloaded here. Restart Firefox. It should look like the picture above now. Of course I have other extensions installed. You can try some of them too - just browse them at https://addons.mozilla.org. Enjoy Fred
