Hey, i was just curious, did anyone heard about those three new series on Channel 4 in UK? I found out about them but accident, but it's about gay people in Manchester and it's really cool and i was wondering if any watchs it...
There's a girl I follow on twitter who loves those series. I tried to watch it and dunno why but it wouldn't play on my laptop. :icon_sad:
Yeah, it's not really about cooking.. Or not cooking things, but maybe cooking people, y'know Ruprect, i don't know but it's the same guy who did all those series so maybe.. I never saw queer as folk
I watch it. They are really good TV shows, but I think that Cucumber is much better than Banana, even though it has different stories every week it's not that good as the other one. My fav character is Freddie because of reasons.... :icon_wink
PandaFlop: I think everyone loves Freddie. He's just so attractive, and cute, and sensitive too. i don't know if you saw the third episode, but man, he was so lost, i wanted to hug him and everything... Shaded: I didn't find tofu to watch online, unfortunatly... Plus, i don't know if you saw it but the guy from In the Flesh is going to be on next week's episode! I'm so excited, i want the episode now..
Freddie also appears as, err, Freddie, in the fantastic flim Pride. The Cucumber, Banana and Tofu series is written by Russell T Davies who also wrote Queer as Folk (1999) and the latest Doctor Who series. There was also a US version of QAF made. The names Cucumber, Banana and Tofu relate to the hardness of a man's erection. Cucumber hardest, banana (with skin on) banana (with skin off) and Tofu! Cucumber is the main hour long series. Banana is half an our and tells the story in more depth of one of the other characters and Tofu is an online series (about 10 minutes) of people talking about sex.
