OK this may sound weird but are there are books that are LGBT focused but not in a stand out way? Its just that I want to read a good, relatable book without my family questioning it. I would be checking it out on my moms library card (I lost mine) and openly reading it in our house so I don't want anyone to question my sexuality without me preparing a response :icon_redf. So any recommendations?
I don't know how old you are, but if you like young adults things, i recommand Will Grayson Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan. Levithan also writes about LGBT but this one is not 100% about gays... Plus it's a very cool book
I read a book over the summer called the vast fields of ordinary. Since I read it over the summer i don't remember exactly what happens, but i remember it was really good and the main character is gay
I'm reading this book right now! It's really good, I definitely recommend it! Although, the blurb does say some gay things that might tip off your mom, and you should try to get the less obvious cover of just a guy's shirt, not the one with the boy in the sunglasses. But it's still a good relatable read, especially if you're in high school!
