It would have to be "Pretty Women" from Sweeney Todd. This moment between the "protagonist" and the man who ruined his life is the turning point of the entire story and in the context of the story, it's a really powerful scene.

Since I can't for the life of me figure out how to correctly link youtube videos on this forum, here's a link:

You need to put part of link after "=" on Youtube link between Youtube braccates... In advanced posting it is on tools window already.

--https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zi7OXmTmgGg-- This is the whole link of Mamma Mia video I posted. I just put Zi7OXmTmgGg part between Youtube brackets. [ YOUTUBE] without spaces.

You're welcome. I love that movie as well. It has so many good things in it. Timeline, songs in it... it almost feels like watching Musical Jack the Ripper.

Yeah. I still regret not seeing a theater production of it starring a really talented Swedish singer. Well, to be fair, I tried. I took out my phone basically the minute I saw the ad for it on the subway to check it out and it was literally completely booked, every single show.

    "Pure Imagination"

Beautiful song, beautiful message. That's the only way to describe it, which is kind of interesting, since this movie can be all over the place. One moment it's a silly children's frolic, the next it's dropping some deep philosophical tidbits, and then it busts out musical numbers. But that's part of the charm of the film, and one reason, of many, that I like it.

    Avenue Q

"What Do You Do With a B.A. in English?/It Sucks To Be Me!"

This was the first song I heard from Avenue Q. The first tidbit I was like, "Okay, this sounds pretty nice...", but then I heard the second part and knew, this was going to be absolutely fantastic. Also, this song is nice to listen to when I'm feeling a little down, as it tends to get me to crack a smile here and there.

Honorable mention goes to "The Nightman Cometh" of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, especially the 'Troll Toll' bit. Dear God... that was disturbingly hilarious, LOL.

I discovered Pure Imagination when Fiona Apple covered it.

As for a song that I like from a Musical, I'm not a fan of it at all but you've mentioned Dancer in The Dark which I always forget that it's technically a musical movie because it's depressing as fuck.

I also loved The New Girl In Town from Hairspray. It's catchy as hell

Oh you guys are giving me musical orgasm... So many good songs some I didn't hear in long time some I am listening for the first time.

I said I would put some happier tunes but I remember this one while listening your songs.

This song comes more meaningful each passing year, when I look back at the friendly, naive and trusting boy back in the days.

Okay adding more happier one. The song made me respect Gaga as a singer. Did I mention I find Gnomeo utterly hot somehow?

You know what I'm gonna do something a little different and say South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut is my favourite musical movie just because many of the songs are hilarious and included in that is South Park the television series too especially with Chef singing all those random ass sexual songs. Including No Substitute, Chocolate Salty Balls and many others.

The only musicals/musical shows I've ever watched are Galavant and Dr.Horrible sing-along blog. And they are both kinda awesome... maybe I should watch more musicals.

In case you haven't noticed I'm a huge fan of Cabaret, the movie (with Liza Minelli), and I love all the songs on that film.

Lots of classics like Somewhere over the Rainbow, Singing in the rain, Sweet transvestite... And of course The Lion King, a lot of songs are just too epic, plus Elton John's voice.

I also enjoyed a lot the songs in Repo! The Genetic Opera, this one was so catchy that I had it on my mp3 player for a long time (even if I hate Hillton's voice)

Also from Repo! I loved Mag and this song

From Cats there is a lot to like, but nothing like Skimbleshanks

Chocolate Salty Balls, what a classic... (!) It's Isaac Hayes' voice, the guy is a legend.
The Chef is also a legend

    Looking forward to watch Chicago.
