Do you play an instrument?

I played the cello and sousaphone in the 5th grade, but after that schools changed and took music out of all schools in the cities where I lived, so I couldn't keep up with it.

Wish I would have known about techno music back in the 80's, I would have went to school to become a techno artist.

 

I have a guitar and a musical keyboard... But I have yet to find the motivation to learn how to play

 

I was learning to play the drums, a friend of me lent me his drumset for a year, and I learnt some basic stuff, and few basic songs. Unfortunately I had to give it back (I'm considering to buy his drumset, because he doesn't use it and is occupying space). It is fun, and the problem is that my neighbours complain, and other people in the house.

 

Drums are quiet. I play bagpipes. Those'll really rattle the walls. At up to 116dB indoors, hearing protection is strongly recommended. I'll post a recording sometime later.

 

I play the piano/electric keyboard and I have some ability to sing. I've never been an expert, but I can learn a song pretty quickly.

 

I play clarinet and guitar, as well as piano for music theory purposes. I want to play double bass and bagpipes. I could however easily pick up the bass clarinet if I wanted to.

 

I mainly play trombone and tuba in concert and jazz band.
I also can play piano and mainly do so in learning theory.

 

A while back I looked for an Erhu and an instructor for Erhu. Unsurprisingly I had no luck finding either.

Currently? Nope.

I did play the flute way back in like middle school though and kinda liked it. I may decide to get one again eventually just to see if that liking is still there at all. Hmm...

 

Ooh, gotta do this... I shall play you wind (first opening theme from naruto), route 113 and maybe something else on keyboard, and I shall play dark pits theme on acoustic guitar, and something (dunno what yet) on E. guitar.

 

I play clarinet during concert band and then I double clarinet and alto saxophone in jazz band. I also play oboe, piano and sing. I'm learning trombone and guitar so we'll see how well that goes..

 

I use to play the violin and cello but now I wanna learn how to play the flute.

 

I've been playing the piano by ear since I was six, and the lyre since I constructed one about two years ago. I'm also currently learning how to play synthesizers and the electric bass. I'm too shy to sing, though.

I'm away for March Break, so I might post a ####### once I get back to my instruments.

 

I'm learning the guitar and piano (I'm decent at them). I also sing (I've been told I'm quite good). I'll post me singing at some point in the future

 

I used to play viola and trumpet...great instruments, but not something that I could actually play very well and enjoy xD

Currently, I play guitar, both electric and acoustic, bass guitar, melodica, harmonica, and mandolin...I just got my mandolin today, so any song recommendations would be appreciated x)

I sing too, dunno if that counts. I'd love to learn how to play piano one day, at least so that I can put synth into my songs without guessing which notes will sound good together xD

 

Nearly 10 years of piano lessons and haven't so much as touched one in probably 12 years. I wish they didn't take up so much space -.-

 

I don't play any instruments, but I would love to learn how to play the guitar or saxophone.

 

I play in the local community big band, as well as a smaller, more New Orleansy style street band.

Not nearly enough low brass here...Trombones! Sound off!

Also ukulele. Because of course.
