    On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being a Star Wars fanatic, I'd probably fall in at a 5 or a 6.

    Like many, I prefer Episodes IV, V, and VI. The prequels, as a whole, had their problems, but they had some acceptable bits. They're just much weaker films, in my opinion, which is why I'm somewhat skeptical about the future films.

    My favorite characters, in the actual films, are:

    - Yoda
    - Darth Vader
    - Boba Fett

    Honorable mention goes to Count Dooku, not so much because of the character, but because Christopher Lee always performs exceptionally.

    In the expanded universe, I like:

    - Darth Talon




    As for it being the best saga ever. For it's time, perhaps, but we all know the Twilight films are the best saga ever.

    I enjoyed all the Star Wars original and newer but wouldn't consider them the best trilogy. I am however excited about the new film!

    I love Star Wars! They're my favorite films of all time. The books and tv shows are good too, but my favorite part of the saga is The Empire Strikes Back.

    I like it a lot. I blends space, science, robots, general sci-fi, swords and an interesting story into a nice package. I especially love the music by John Williams. It's not the greatest, but it is very compelling.

    I love Star Wars so much. It is the greatest movie saga in my opinion.
    I love Knights of the Old Republic. I don't care if it's not canon. The Old Republic is my favourite time period in Star Wars.

    I like Star Wars, I loved it when I was a child so it always will move me. I prefer the old trilogy, more magical and mythical save-the-princess over the fake-sci-fiction of the other trilogy. Jedi are space-wizards, that was so much better then "midichlorian-blood".
    I think that the plot was great anyway, I mean Anakin who turns bad because the Council didn't trust him and to save Padme, Obi-Wan could not kill him, Yoda's exile, even the accession of the Emperor (maybe less complicated) are great points but I think that the entire clime is changed too much, I liked the old one.

    About the new film, I don't know, I think that Abrams is more suitable for doing Star Wars then Star Trek, so I hope he will do a better work.

    Are you sure about that? It was made by Lucasarts and there is many a page about the era on Wookieepedia. Maybe not referenced by most books and movies because it's at the same time recent-ish and deals with in-universe ancient history, but as legitimate nonetheless.

    It was made by BioWare, not LucasArts. Doesn't matter--Disney declared everything outside the movies as non-canon.
