Yeah, I don't like films. I feel like I could be doing something else instead.

Unless it's something I'm really interested in, I won't watch any film at all. I like the Crows Zero 1/2 and Crows Explode, but aside from that... Unless it's DBZ related, I hate watching films, it's boring. I don't know if I've ever been able to see the end of the first LOTR without falling asleep... I haven't watched Star Wars either, it looks so... plain.
Even anime, I try to watch them, I can end up enjoying them... But globally it's just a pain in the ass: Reading the real manga is so much better.

Would anyone have any films that are good for people like me who'd want to find an interest in it ? I feel like I'm missing something :/

I'm somewhat the same way with films, in general. If I'm not wanting to watch a movie, then forcing myself to, comes off feeling wasteful.

Honestly, with the hype Star Wars gets, watching it now would not do much. They're not bad films, mind you, they're just not as good as their hype is.

I suppose it depends on what you're expecting out of a film. To laugh? To think? To just be entertained?

A little more detail would be helpful.

    I'll try, thanks.

That's the point, I don't really know what to expect from a film :/

If you say there are boring then what makes them boring?being predictable?

So, a general recommendation. Okay, wow...

Going off the films you did list, here's the best I can offer:

Ip Man: Set in 1930s China, during the Imperial Japanese invasion/World War II. It's based off the guy who trained Bruce Lee, but there are some obvious liberties taken. Still, it's an enjoyable movie to watch for the fight scenes, the soundtrack is nice, and it moves fairly quickly.

Scarface: A long film, but probably my favorite "gangster movie". In 1980s Florida, Cuban immigrant "Tony" Montana rises up from a nobody to a big-time drug dealer. This film is notable for influencing many hip-hop artists, as well as inspiring Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Alien: While I prefer the sequel, Aliens, this is a good start. Basically, a spaceship and it's crew investigate a distress signal, encounter a weird life form, and... it begins to stalk and kill the crew, one by one. If you like Horror and Science-Fiction, it's one of the best examples of how to cross the two. I find the alien's life cycle very interesting.

Yeah, how could I have forgotten Ip Man ! I've watched the sequel and the prequel more than once. It was so great !

I think that I'll try Scarface, it seems like it'd be a cool film ! Thanks Kaisou !

Interstellar would be a good film, even though it's really long the plot is well organized and it feels shorter than it actually is.

Also you might enjoy the 1st and 2nd Terminator films.
