I'm not sure if there is a similar thread already. Another forum I belong to does this. Just name the last movie you watched, rate if 1-10 and a brief summary (if you want) no spoilers!

Tonight I watched Nightcrawler I'd give it a 7/10. Would watch again!

Rewatched Side Effects a little over a week ago. Given the... Narrative similarities between the two I couldn't help but compare it to Gone Girl the whole time and sadly that is a comparison Side Effects comes off losing. Regardless, Soderbergh still managed to make it an engaging movie that stands on it's own and it's well worth a watch, specially if you like suspense and unpredictable [as well as well-written] scripts.

It's a movie about the side-effects of anti-depressants... Or is it?

    7.5/10

My mom saw Gone Girl in theaters with my sister and niece and said it was weird. She has a terrible taste in movies so I should probably watch it for myself before judging it

Oh you definitely owe it to yourself to give it a chance. One of my favorite movies from last year, if not of all time. It's perfect. I honestly cannot think of a single thing holding it back.

At the very least, I can assure it will entertain you. Do give it a watch when you have the time, and come back here and tell us what you thought!

I watched 'Chef' with Jon Favreau. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Watched Monster Squad on weekend. Just when I was thinking that movie was more exciting, 80s music started and things got rolling. Tho' my nephew got bored with it easily. Kids today... hmpf!

I watched Insurgent yesterday. Basically it is your future dystopian world where a self sustaining city with farmland is enclosed by walls. Inside everyone is classified based off of personal feelings and additudes into five factions on how to live ones live. However, when the faction system doesn't apply to you it can be dangerous.

I would give it a 7/10. It didn't follow the book(gasp) but it explained the story in an equally interesting and perhaps straightforward way.

It's been a long time since I've first seen 10 Things I Hate About You but also re-watching it made me realise how I want to watch another movie so I give my real take on it since I don't think I have anything much to say about it?

The Shaun The Sheep movie at the cinema. I only went because I was taking my little brother, but when I watched it I was quite surprised at how clever and sophisticated some of the comedy was, and it had a fun plot.

    9/10

    Hot Tub Time Machine 2

The movie was frickin' hilarious imo, and was the first time I was really able to enjoy that kinda humor without it feeling awkward(I saw it alone).

Mainly because of my enjoyment and feeling more... relaxed(?) with that kinda thing, I'd give it an 8-9/10(it felt a little more... detached from the first than I figured).
