I love musicals but nearly everyone I know hates them. What do you think?

Depends on the musical. Disney movies are okay, love South Park & Family Guy's...

i dont like it but i dont hate it.
I like some of the music, but the idea of singing like in the middle of conversation or having an argument by singing it its just unrealistic

everybody have their taste, likes and preferences
musicals are not in my list
    sorry arfff

I love singing but I never found love for musicals (but I don't hate them, there's a difference). I've considered auditioning for one in our university though.

I don't like musicals... except for Glee... and even that one I usually did something else during the musical numbers... :/

Love them. That's one thing that's very stereotypically gay about me. I like everything from "My Fair Lady" to "Spring Awakening". I just like musicals

It depends on the musical or the song. Some musicals aren't my cup of tea and some songs, well, same thing.

Personally, my favorite musical is Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, even though some folks will insist it doesn't count.

Besides "Pure Imagination" is too great of a song.

    There's a few I like.

    Chicago, Sweeney Todd, etc.

Since there's no neutral answer, I chose "I don't care"

    I absolutely adore musicals.

My favourite is Wicked, and I also love Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, and Evita.

Others that I've seen include: Phantom of the Opera; Matilda; Chicago; Miss Saigon; Les Miserables; Love Never Dies; Billy Elliot; Jersey Boys; Cats; Once; The Lion King; Mary Poppins...

    I'm obsessed, basically.

I'm not generally keen on them, with the occasional exception. For example I really liked the film version of The Phantom of the Opera (never seen the stage version, too expensive), and I have the soundtrack. Despite the fact that several of the cast are clearly lacking the level of singing skill required, including some main characters *cough* Gerard Butler *cough* and a few other flaws, it is actually enjoyable. Anyone who's ever felt like a lonely outcast could potentially feel their heart touched (or perhaps broken) by that story.
