I'm really surprised that there are no threads here about the Pacquiao and Mayweather fight tonight.

    Who is seeing the fight?

Anyone going to a fight party?

Who are you rooting for to win?

    Discuss ,debate, WHATEVER.

I'm pretty stoked about the fight tonight.

I'm heading over to a friend's house tonight for a fight party.

I'm rooting for Pacquiao but I'm just hoping to see a good fight because Mayweather fights can be boring if Mayweather is just running around.

This should really be in Entertainment and Media...

Not really a fan of fighting, unless it's in hockey.

I'm pretty sure most Filipino people are taking the day off work to watch it and so on :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: While I'm not stoked, my family is. They always get pretty loud when Pacquiao fights, haha.

Its Sunday here in the Philippines, so almost all of THEM will watch. Not really a big fan of it, but I really hope Manny wins this. You want to know how big of a deal this fight is to my family? My mom just cleaned the house because they are expecting LOTS of people to watch here in our house. They also started cooking foods, not for my brother and I, but for the people watching. I seriously need an earplug when the fight is on because they shout all the time!

Quick fact: Did you know that Manila has 0% crime rate in almost all fights of Manny. I sometimes wish Manny just fight someone everyday :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I hear from my Filipino friends about how they're watching it and so on, haha. Filipino people here as well in North America are taking the day off, like lots of my former coworkers xD I've never really been a fan of any boxing of any sort, but... #flippride and whatnot. (&&&)

And I didn't know that fact! That's really interesting.

Pacquiao and Mayweather. Um. Yes. Uh. Mmhm. Fighting. Yes.. the WWE? Fight! Fight! Yes. I am cheering for Pacquiao and totally not just because of the plethora of vowels in his name. Is Andre the Giant still alive? Can I cheer for him?

Floyd just won. If you are to watch the game, Manny totally should have won. The fight is BS. Pshhhh  Atleast Manny has the heart of many people.

I can careless about the fight. Although I hope Pacquiao wins just because I don't like Mayweather as a person, he seems so cocky (I know it's part of fighting) but also remember reading about him beating his wife....

I love watching two people beat the shit out of each other...Oh, and in case you're wondering, I don't find either of them attractive...

The fight didn't seem all that satisfying for how hyped it was. Pacquiao probably should have won.

Everyone in my family's pretty much furious since Pacquiao lost. Like they had Team Manny shirts printed and everything. (But Mayweather's defense is extraordinarily good, and he's a really smart fighter too, so I can't really say anything about it)

I think this was a disappointing match IMO. Not because I was rooting for Pacquiao but I felt like this was a sleeper. I felt like Mayweather kept it safe though he was wise enough to make Pacquiao tired during the first few rounds.

Many are claiming that this is the fight of the century but it's honestly one of the worst fights ever and if Mayweather thought that he put Pacquiao in his place, it hardly is since he was running around the ring and clinching the whole time.

Wow so glad you mentioned that, I was beginning to worry no one would post any necessary comment.

Also incidentally the day where the only crimes that happen are almost entirely related to the fight (e.g. drunk people having fights).

I didn't have the chance to watch, but I wasn't surprised Pacquaio lost. There's just this feeling.

I was gutted that Pacquaio lost. He seems like a very respectful, humble guy and the fact that he was obviously the crowd favourite, despite the fact that Mayweather was fighting in his home city, says a lot about his character (as well as that of Mayweather).

    Didn't watch the fight, lol.

But I hated how people (in my case, Filipinos) were being aggressively racist and homophobic against Mayweather. Literally, my news feed was swamped with stupid ass comments.

First I was working, then sitting at my computer. Don't like fighting at all.
