The British Neurologist, Dr. Oliver Sacks, who wrote "The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat" and who was played by Robin Williams in the 1990 movie Awakenings, is now dying of terminal cancer. He recently published a memoir called On the Move, a Life which reveals another side of him and his youth as a gay man in the fifties.

This well-written review describes the book and Sacks' life in science as well as his love affairs, both for his motorcycles as for his various lovers.
