Say you are coming in from a long hard day at work, just a terrible day. Very tired, sore, mentally drained and just ready for some down time.

Your significant other has picked up on this and has planned an evening. Cooked dinner, petals on the floor, the whole nine yards. Romance romance stuff!

BUT -- the first thing that happens is you open the door and that song is playing. As soon as you open that door and that song hits you just know, even before your eyes meet.

What song would that be for you? Mine (I guess) is kinda corny, but "Sailing" by Christopher Cross. That song always calms me down, and if someone was ever going to plan an evening like that. That would be the perfect song.

    Edit.
I totally put this in the wrong forum. Meant for Entertainment and Media /facepalm

This song is basically exactly what you described, working all day, coming home to a home-cooked meal, and just wanting to relax.

The flute always gets to me.

This song is basically the exact same thing too, the beginning sounds aggressive then it turns into one of the most relaxing songs ever.

Anyone that dislikes this song, I know it's bad to say, but I mean what is wrong with you. It's the best love in my opinion. It's gender-neutral, and it's lyrics don't make me cringe, they actually make me feel, and it's very hard for me to like love-songs, most of them are the same crap different pile

This is a "please let me die in your arms as you stroke my hair and kiss my forehead" kinda song.

Ya people associate Bob Marley with pot too much, he is actually a really sweet guy, hardly any of his songs were about pot, most of them were about love. He's like one of the only super popular artists I have no problem standing behind. Kaya is his only song about marijuana.

This is another good one by him you were looking for

Also another super relaxing song; Bob marley sample in it doesn't sound like him

This one is of a similar nature. I highly suggest Esbe if you like Bob Marley even though it's not even reggae.
