As summer approaches, conventions are popping up everywhere. Which ones are you attending? Which ones have you attended in the past? Which ones do you wish to attend in the future? (Anime North started today, which prompted this thread)
It's 1 of my dreams to attend yaoicon in San Fransisco with a bunch of straight people sometime. Or else there's fanime which could also be alot of fun. My friend and me have plans to go to it and do fate zero cosplay
I went to Anime Central last weekend. I'm going to Anime Midwest in the summer. I wish I could go to more conventions, but I'm still rather young. I hope to go to Anime Expo in LA when I'm a little older. A week in California would be awesome.
This weekend is Anime North in Toronto. ;-; I miss AN. Last time I went was in 2009. I attended for 4 years. Cosplays were OC, Subaru (X/1999), and MisaMisa (Death Note). It was amazing. It was awesome. I miss it. I did go to Atomic Lollipop as well in 2011. It was also fun (Batman Burlesque show ftw) but AN is better lol.
I've never been to a convention, but I go to the renaissance faire every year. This year I want to go as Khaleesi in her Dothraki outfit from seasons 1&2. I'd love to go as Cersei, but I can't even imagine how much those dresses would cost and they're not really the best choice for walking around in the middle of August.
