Agh.... I should seriously stop it. Listening to Ed Sheeran makes me really wish I was in love (such a sappy statement there it's just gross). And then I realize I am not. And then I become sad.

Anyone have artists that just really effect them on a deeply emotional level? Mine would be: Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Noah and the Whale, Damien Rice, & Switchfoot.

You mentioned Sufjan Stevens!?!?! He is a tear jerker...with most of the songs from his new album, and Chicago and Casimir Pulaski Day....god...his songs are really emotional for me. And seeing him live this year made the songs even more emotional for me too! Sigur Rós, Radiohead, Múm, The National, and Elliott Smith would have to be some others.

The Mountain Goats'll do it for me. Just the right blend of anger and sadness.
