    I was looking through the wikipedia page for the Rocky Horror Picture Show, after reading a thread here on EC when I found this:

    How do you think people will take the remake? Do you think that it will be as good as the original?

    No, no, no, no, no. You remake The Wizard of Oz and Star Wars before you remake RHPS. They best be canceling quickly or I will protest-riot.

    I've always said there are 2 movies that every single person should see:
    Rocky Horror and Wizard of Oz.

    They've already remade my favourite movie (Wicker Man)

    If they remake Rocky Horror and Wizard of Oz I'm nothing!

    DID YOU SEE THE LAST TRILOGY....IT SUCKED!!!!


    Rocky Horror is a classic, remaking it will be worthless and will no where near make the money they're anticipating.

    I believe those were called "The Wiz" and "The Phantom Menace". And guess what, both of them sucked. So the same fate awaits a RHP remake.

    Granted it sucked....but it was a prequel NO REMAKE!

    That remake was awful. I can see the same thing happening with this, people will reject it in the first place, it will be awful anyway, and it will fail. Epically.

    It will almost definitely suck! I can't picture ANYONE pulling off Frank N. Furter the way that Tim Curry did! It's impossible. I know that Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick are not very happy about it, and Richard O'Brien has said that it doesn't have his blessing.

    I f***ing hate remakes!! :angry:

    they have edited the end of one of the star wars so the hologram of anikin (I think it;s him) is the new actor :S

    Phantom Menace was all about recreating the succes of the original film. I know it was a prequel, but the entire prequel trilogy was about re-creating the succes of the original trilogy and sacrificing any artistic integrity Lucas had left along the way. So Prequel, sequel, remake. All the same to me. Star Wars is now little more than a brand name anyway. Because even if they do decide to a full remake, no one will care anymore.
