I know High School Musical is seen by mainstream as laughable as Twilight but I love them both. I've always enjoyed HSM and don't quite understand why this isn't a universal thing
    *sigh*
I'm one of those early 2000's Disney kids and always shall be

High School Musical was the bomb. Anyone who says otherwise is either an adult or a teenager that grew up too quickly.

High School Musical is my jam. Fetus Efron gives me life. The second one was also okay, but the third one was lazy at best. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Twilight was okay enough for YA fiction. The characters who are not Bella are interesting enough, and the plot was creative-ish. Near the end of the series, the character writing got really sloppy and lazy imo, and the ending felt kinda forced.

I used to be obsessed with HSM, back when the first one came out. I remember me and my friend would take our stuffed animals and reenact the movie for our families. I actually still have a couple of the songs from the series on my iTunes. (From back in 2008 or so).

I don't like Twilight- at all. My step-mother and step-brother are obsessed with it still though, and they made me sit down and marathon the series with them. I nitpick the series and find a lot of issues with it. Though I can see why it would appeal to some people.

What?! Who likes High School Musical?! It's for KIDS!!! They said it is the Start of Something New, but HELLO?! Getcha Head in the Game! Most of them are nerds and I'm like, Stick to the Status Quo! I'll Bet On It, they only like it because many people like it. They were shouting I Want it All! Im like, Walk Away Golgari, Walk Away. But why am I getting affected by this? I Gotta Go My Own Way

Heck, who am I kidding?!!! We're All In This Together!!!

I thought it was okay when I was 11, but now.. ugh. So cheesy. I can't even bear watching it.

When I was 10 I was already listening to and enjoying The Phantom of the Opera. I must have skipped the High School Musical phase.

The first one wasn't that bad imo, but the 2nd and 3d ones were just lazy.

I liked High School Musical, cute Zac Efron playing basketball but wanting to sing and dance instead. Yay!
