Because I just discovered them and they're amazing.

If you don't know about them, they basically do covers of modern songs, but change them into music styles from the 1920s-1960s; musical styles I've always been a fan of.

    Let me post some examples.

In my opinion the recordings themselves are weak with very little focus on the band, and after about a minute and the chorus comes through it just sounds like the original to me, but if they were to either make the band much, much louder, or if they were to write there own songs it'd be pretty good.

And what the hell does 'postmodern' mean?

Their cover of Fiona Apple's Criminal was spot-on, perfect almost.
I didn't care too much for most of their other stuff, it was kind of too much for me. But obviously they know what they're doing. The Baseballs, a band that tried to do the same thing back in 2010 or something, was nothing compared to these guys. and girls.
