Sheridan Smith is one of my favourite actresses because she has the ability to adapt so well to any role I've ever seen him in. You can see her in 'Cilla' and see her as the character she plays and you forget about everything she's ever done prior because such a good actress. Same with Dan Radcliffe, even though he will forever be remembered as Harry Potter, he took to playing Arthur Kipps (Woman in Black) and Allen Ginsberg (Kill Your Darlings) like a duck to water. I feel like I've gotten my point across but I don't think I've said it with the right words, if no one understands this comment.
Leonard Nimoy, because he was both Spock in Star trek, and FUCKING GALVATRON in the Transformers 1986 movie! That is so awesome to me, because Galvatron is my favorite Transformer ever!
My favourite actor is Tom Hanks. I find him to be a very talented actor, and one who adds a lot of personality to his characters.
Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston and Channing Tatum. There are heaps of others but I love all of the 3 above! Not just for their talent but for their personalities! xx
Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Matt Damon, and Gary Oldman. I like Ford, Schwarzenegger, and Willis simply because I love a lot of their movies, and I like Damon and Oldman because of how versatile they are as actors.
My favorite actor, right now, is David Tennant. I've seen a lot that he's been in (Doctor Who, The Escape Artist, Broadchurch, Gracepoint, Hamlet, United, The Decoy Bride, etc) and have never been disappointed with a single performance. He's brilliant.
Sally Field, Sigourney Weaver, Susan Sarandon, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Gosling, Tom Hanks. And some others, but those are the first ones I thought of.
I have to divide this into modern day and classic era as I am a huge cinephile. for classic era actress it would be Vivien Leigh aside from her incredible beauty she was so good at playing Southern belles and independent women. i love all her performances equally. for classic era actor it would be James Cagney. just an all around excellent actor and a great dancer..for modern era actress it would be Kate Winslet i always look forward to any film she is in regardless of the film's reputation and she is very classy. modern day actor my choice is Daniel Day Lewis just his intensity and his focus and commitment to each of his roles and on being a great actor is what i like about him plus he chooses his roles very carefully
