So I've been watching a lot more "YA" TV lately... i call them my guilty pleasures.
I was wondering if anyone else has any TV shows that they consider their guilty pleasures.

    I've watched The 100 (i love post apocalyptic shoes/movies/books)
    Faking It
    South of Nowhere.

I just like watching how the relationships develop and how the characters, at a younger age come to terms with their sexuality. I think those shows have great role models with teens/ young adults as the writes make the primary characters really smart/ logical.

A lot of people I know think How I Met Your Mother is dumb but I like it a lot.

Dragon Half! I consider it a guilty pleasure because even though I don't particularly like the sexual themes of it, or the manga it was adapted from, I still like it for having funny moments and cute, bubbly characters like Mink!

I'd hardly call The 100 a 'guilty pleasure', I mean that seems to imply there's something bad about it. It's a fantastically written/performed show that's gotten rave reviews.

    I confess...

I've been watching a lot of Disney crap because... well, it's a long story. To shorten it, I'll just say that I've recently been obsessed with a few actresses from something and they used to be on Disney TV and I watch those terrible shows just to oggle at them... DX

From time to time I'll sneak in an episode of Total Drama Island. I know, I know, it's stupid vapid BS, but I stay for the satirical element, lol. It's one of those obnoxious things you have to take in small does and have to understand what's being made fun of.

How could I have forgotten TDI! Well it's probably because everything after season 1 was complete and utter shite.

I used to be a huge Supernatural fan, but now I just snicker at my husband's guilty pleasure show: The Bachelor/ette. It's quite a journey.

I guess "Monster Musume" is the very definition of a guilty pleasure show.

Avatar: the last airbender and Avatar: Legend of Korra. They're kids shows, no matter how you look at it, but they are so goddamn good!

What makes them kid shows? The fact that they're animated and originally aired on a network for children? I'd say that they're kid-friendly rather than a kid show.

Actually did you know that Nickelodeon stopped airing LOK on TV because of the "maturity" of the show? It's not exactly a "kids show" if you go by the standard American definition of one.

There are LOTS of adults who love the Avatar franchise, so I wouldn't ever think that ATLA or LOK would be a guilty pleasure. Just cross out the guilty part and you're good!

They removed it from TV due to disappointing ratings. The ratings for the first season of LoK were way, way over what they expected, so they commissioned three more seasons right after the first one, but they weren't as successful as they'd hoped. By midway through the third season, they felt it didn't pull enough ratings to earn its timeslot any more and moved it to their web service. They just wanted to get it out of the way towards the end which is why season 3 and season 4 came out basically right after one another.

There is some dispute though since the first episode to be web only did feature an actual onscreen murder that was actually quite gruesome.
