I like to listen to the song "Spectrum" at the moment, even if it's not quite the music genre I like. It's about coming out and that people sometimes have to hide their orientation or identity because it's not safe for them to open up to others.

These songs are kinda old, but I do enjoy them because they are unambiguously gay and explicit. Matt Fishel is also a good enough artist that he deserves to be on the radio. Unfortunately, straight people will never support explicitly gay songs the same way gay people explicitly support hetero songs. That makes me sad.

Honestly, this is just a small taste of my queer music collection. I rarely listen to any music that is not either made by or for queer people.

'All the Things She Said' by t.A.T.u. has a kinda LGBT themed video. (Just the video though, the song doesn't really have a theme like that)

I've heard that 'Brave' by Sara Bareilles was written for one of her friends who was coming out as gay.
