Well, the only thing I can really think of that I have been reading that might be up your alley would be the scanlation (a translation of a foreign piece of literature put into scans on the internet) of this manga I kind of like called Dragon Half, which has the closest thing to lesbianism I've found in anything I've read in some parts of it, mainly for jokes, though. It also helps that the characters are fun and cute and distract from the fact that it is mostly an ecchi manga. I know it's kind of a farcical thing to say nowadays, but honestly, I like it for the plot, not the cheesecake material. And it has some solid jokes here and there. I also just love the main character Mink! She's so cute and innocent!

I agree about Annie On My Mind.
    Some others I liked:
Affinity by Sarah Waters (or any of her lesbian-themed books)
Aimee And Jaguar by Erica Fischer (based on a true story, beware the end)

Adaptation by Malinda Lo (The sequel is called Inheritance. It's YA Sci Fi and they're pretty fun. Technically the main character is a bisexual girl, but I figured I'd throw it out there)
