    Mean Girls ftw...

I know every line and yeah... It's borderline obsessive.

I'm also hugely in love with 'Another Gay Movie' and 'Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild' right now

Fucking Åmål, definitely. It was the first lesbian-themed movie I ever watched, and buying the DVD was the first time I'd openly bought something queer-related, so it kind of has special meaning to me. As well as that, the acting is just brilliant.

I can't say I have any one favourite film... but just to throw around some names:

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Click It's a great film in every way.
Fried Green Tomatoes - Lesbian relationship (It's much less subtle in the novel)
March of the Penguins - Best. documentary. Ever.
The Wizard of Oz - Judy Garland. Need I say more?
Donnie Darko - Loved it

So, I always loved that movie, but could never really figure out why. Hahahahaha I haven't seen it in years. Perhaps it is time to revisit that movie.

I will have to think about what my favorites are besides Young Frankenstein.

Going backwards chronologically, I'd say: V for Vendetta, Fight Club, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

South Park; Bigger, Longer and Uncut.

I have no shame in admitting that one day I wish to direct a Broadway production of this  Not to mention I know the whole thing off by heart and could probably recite it to all you now. The fangirlness... it's awful, isn't it?

Oh and Louise? Beware... feature length musical South Park will be coming your way very soon. Muahahahahahaaaa...

HUGE movie phreak here, so there's WAY too many to choose from. How 'bout a top 5 though?

    1. Dances With Wolves - a beautiful, heartfelt epic movie. It says so much about the white man's expansion into an untouched land and the subjugation/destruction of an entire culture and their way of life. Possibly the finest film example of a group of people putting their entire hearts and souls into a project.

    2. Empire Strikes Back - by far the best Star Wars movie, and one of the best sci-fi movies ever, this is the style and quality that the prequel trilogy SHOULD have followed.

    3. Superman (1978) - still THE superhero movie against which all others should be measured. A perfect blend of origin story and superhero action, but more important, it's a brilliant slice of cinematic Americana. Honorable mention: Superman Returns, flawed but a great homage/pseudo-sequel to the original.

    4. The Towering Inferno - for some reason I LOVE disaster movies. And this one is the pinnacle, even nominated for Best Picture! Cheesy sometimes, but always fun with lots of Hollywood spectacle!

    5. Donnie Darko - Crazy mind-bending fun! And any movie that I can watch over and over, seeing it in a different way each time, gets my vote!

I have never had just one favorite movie. But right now I'd have to say that my favorite is "Twilight".
