Anime. I've watched way more anime than I've read manga. I've never really questioned why I prefer anime. I read a fuckton of non-fiction books, so maybe I want a change of pace. And I think battles are more fun when you can see all the colours and movements.

With that said, I've pre-ordered several manga, often many months in advance.

While anime generally has more colors, sounds, and well, animation--manga is often better plot-wise, and you won't be led off canon, since it is canon.

Although I know the plot in manga are way better than their anime adaptions, I just prefer anime, especially since I prefer action/intense type of plots. The manga adaptions just loses its intensity. But I do juggle between manga and anime.

Why no selection for both? I personally love them equally.

Anime for me, I'm a visual person so I like the changing scenery in the backgrounds and the beautiful artworks, especially the 1080p animes. With that said, I also like to read manga. I just slightly prefer animes!

Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite manga; in my opinion the characters are better portrayed in the manga than in the anime adaptation. The original story is best, that's why I voted for manga.

I prefer anime; for me I'm not so much into reading, and I prefer to watch what's going on.

    Both.

It's when an Anime stalls or uses filler that, often times, I dislike it. Dragon Ball Z was notorious for this until Kai fixed that. Now, I prefer the Anime over the Manga, because Kai is, pretty much, panel-for-panel.

I think it's interesting, though, when it comes to Manga, to see an artist grow with their art. Naruto, for example, has some very rough-looking designs in the beginning. Now, they look a lot smoother. You don't always get that in an Anime.

What I do normally is watch an anime, and then if I really enjoy it, I'll read the manga, tokyo ghoul and gintama being two prime examples, so I guess I love them both equally, even though I've seen more anime:

I'd say I prefer each as much as the other and love them both equally, but since that wasn't an option then I suppose I'll just say anime because I watch so much more of it than I read manga.

(Then again, after watching the anime I usually search out the manga and read it too...)

I didn't put a third option because I wanted to see which was more popular. I needed to force a decision to get that result.

    You drive a hard bargain!

Anime, it is, then. Mostly because I have easier access to an anime than a manga. I also need more space for more manga, whereas I have plenty of space to put more anime DVD/BluRays.

It's a tough question but I generally prefer manga more than anime usually because when I watch animes the one thing that makes it for me are the voices for the characters. When you're reading the manga, you can make the voices up in your head but with the anime, you can't and I sometimes just stop watching an anime entirely if the voice acting is just sucky. (It's also the reason why I prefer watching subbed anime because I'd prefer to understand zilch and read the subtitles but the voice acting is on point!)

I think the only thing that anime beats manga in is the art style. The manga is like the prerequisite to the anime and you can really see how the mangaka have developed their art style more and improved in the anime and that's usually why I continue to keep watching an anime...and because the character development is amazing.

I love both. They're both equally present in my leisure time
But I think if I had to choose I would go with anime just because it appeals to both my most and second most important of the six main senses- sound and sight. So it can usually be more succesful at making me feel more of a range of emotions.

Plus I love op and ed themes :3
