What are the best covers over the original songs? I love this one.

Fray covers Sixpence None the Richers' "Kiss Me"

I don't listen much to him anymore, but Marilyn Manson's cover of Sweet Dreams beats the upbeat pop original any day.

I personally prefer Martika's version of 'I Feel the Earth Move' to Carole King's original.

You're crazy, he plays it way too straight. I like both versions though.

Nothin's Gonna Stand in Our Way, covered by Kick Axe, originally by John Farnham. Absolutely amazing, as well as being so '80s it hurts:

Every time I hear Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know, I always think the Glee version is so much better.

Hurt by Johnny Cash (I had to second this one)

    Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley

Valerie by Amy Winehouse (arguable, but I prefer this one)

"Land of Confusion" by Disturbed and (more recently) I Prevail's cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space". (Then again, maybe I think the latter one is better simply because I don't like Taylor Swift's music.)
