Please exclude books that you've been required to read for things such as school/college/work, if you didn't really enjoy those books.

I read more non-fiction books, mostly about science or serial killers. When I do read a fiction book, it is usually about science fiction or horror.

I read mostly literary fiction although I do have a few non-fiction (history and travel writing) books on my to read list.

Fiction mostly. I do my non-fiction reading here on the internet.

Fiction is all I read unless required by school. If I want to learn I'll look online or watch a documentary.

Fiction. Although at times, I probably have had more interest in non fiction for whatever reason.

At the moment almost exclusively non-fiction.

Looking at what I've read this year I figured I was a little more balanced but darn it! for every 1 non-fiction book I read, I read 2 fiction. I like both but it seems I "prefer" one over the other.

    Frack.

With books I much prefer fiction. Nothing wrong with a good academic journal every once in a while though.

I really like Sci-Fi. Although, being real or non-real isn't important to me. As long as it's a good story.

I've enjoyed non-fiction books -- the biographical type, or historical, or earlier this year some books on LGBT history --, but I read more fiction by far. Ever since I was little. I doubt I'll ever stop.

I voted fiction but then I realised I like biographies a lot so it's about even.

Voted for both equally because dystopian future is my favorite type of genre.

Vastly prefer fiction. Being introverted and having a strong imagination makes fiction perfect for me.

Slightly leaning toward non-fiction. I do love fiction. But I read a lot of biology and that kind of stuff, and random wiki info on stuff.

I have a pretty even mix of both. The past several books I've read have been fiction, but over the years I've read a lot of non-fiction (mainly books about history/historical figures).
