inb4 Superman is goody-goody 2 shoes, overpowered, boring.

I like them both, but Batman has a significant lean.

Batman always wins in the comics. That's fine, I'm sticking with Team Superman though, he's my fav comic character so I'm not going to swap just for this.
Side Question, Team Cap or Team Stark?

Batman every single step of the way. Superman is just boring. It's really apparent who is the greater hero/fighter whenever they fight, not only because Batman usually wins but because of his amazing adaptability. One of the best examples is in Justice League: War where Batman is meeting Superman for the first time and he's just going from gadget to gadget to find something that works while avoiding Superman's attacks. Whenever he uses a gadget and see how ineffective it is, he is completely unfazed as he goes to the next one and you just know that he's committing every single reaction that Superman does to memory and all these little brawls and observing Superman whenever they fight side by side is what enables Batman to win whenever they come to serious blows.

I'm proud of everyone's answers so far :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I'll write out a longer response later (as I'm currently busy) but for now I'll just say Batman.

    Lol

I am totally voting for deathstroke. Or Jarad Leto as the joker. Or Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

I would say Batman cause he don't have no superpowers, no he don't have no superpowers.

And Superman is a typical hero and sometimes that make boring characters and this man don't like no boring characters at all.

Cap every single day of the week. No question.

    ---

As for Batman vs. Superman, it has to be Batman all day, every day. Superman, to me, is boring as fuck and has been out of the picture too long for me to even consider.

Batman. Superman had everything handed to him and is basically a Gary Stu and Batman actually works and fights to keep Gotham safe. He struggles and he worked his way to where he is. So Batman.

As a kid I never followed comics like a lot of other people, but I did watch the obvious cartoons & such, & I did watch Batman & Superman. Looking back though, & having watched recent adaptions & such. I wanna say that ..I'm leaning towards Batman, while it's all fiction, his story is realistic; parents murdered for riches, left as an orphan ..decides to help fight crime & avengeance for their deaths (If I have that correct) builds his own weapons, studies fighting etc. Whereas Superman just naturally has these abilities, yes he struggles ..but he's too perfect in that sense, even with the Kryptonite thing, other than that ..it's his sole mission to save everybody, Batman's too I guess, but ..even he can't save everyone.

It's interesting how people perceive Superman. In terms of potential, Batman is almost as bad, if not worse than Superman, because pop culture deems he always finds a way to prevail. In that regard, he's just as invincible as the Man of Steel, yet nobody seems to mind that as much...

That said, I wouldn't rank Superman in my Top 10 heroes. But there's more to him, though that may have to wait a little while, depending on my mood.

As for the question of Iron Man or Captain America. Captain America, simply for the fact he gave a big fuck you to the government during the Civil War event. Otherwise, I find Tony Stark more interesting as a character.
