I loved this movie, it is so beautiful and yet so sad, it's probably the only movie that I've ever watched that has truly touched me emotionally. It's also the only movie as to which I've full on cried afterwards.
I'm sure it's a great movie but I've never watched it because I feel like I would be way too annoyed at all the characters to enjoy it.
The hype machine for this was strong, so I don't know if I could enjoy it. Also, I've heard it is terribly boring if you overlook the manly action.
It was a rather interesting movie, in my opinion. I watched it the same day I watched "Philadelphia" for the first time. I felt awful afterwards. =/
Feeling bad for the OP here. I hear a lot of people were touched by the story, I wasn't one of them. It just dragged on. I did feel the acting was good. It also gave us one of the most memorable lines ever.
