I am a third year film student writing a dissertation about the variation of gender and how it is more than the binary of male and female that society categories everyone as. I will primarily be looking at how films and television shows can be used as a a tool to challenge societies perception of gender. I am uncertain as to where the dissertation is headed as I need to think of a more precise question however i would appreciate the titles of any films or tv series that you know of that may concern these issues. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated Thanks
If you want to include transgender in that, then Transparent would probably be a good one. Other than that I don't know.
