Is there any bands/singers you like to listen to when you're in a bad mood to cheer yourself up?

Personally I like listening to MIKA, Girls aloud, and Years and Years whenever I feel down. How about you?

    I absolutely love Halestorm
Their music is mostly rock, but there's some pop-rock, and some that leans more towards metal, and country, even.

I love Foster The People (especially their Torches album, I used to listen to it habitually). Not sure if it's an obvious "feel good" artist, but hey, their music does make me feel a bit better when I'm down.

I don't have to think about this at all

    Darren Hayes/Savage Garden

My god that man can sing. He struggled for a long time and songs like Affirmation and So Beautiful show how far he has come. Then you have You can still be free and Mine. And just so many others.
Then, of course, Insatiable & This side of me [both NSFW]

He just pours his emotions into his songs, and it shows

I like to listen to New Radicals/Gregg Alexander songs when I'm down.
Sure, like any other band/artist, there are some sad songs, but there are also happy ones, and they're the ones that cheer me up.

    And also, this:

I usually listen to metal and rock, but when I need cheering up I always stick Metric on. I think their music is so relaxing (even if it still technically counts as rock). I have a 'Sleep playlist' on my phone, which is what I use when I want to listen to music when I go to sleep, and that playlist is pretty much filled with Metric.

I have too many to list here. Music is a deep part of who I am and I have a song for every mood. I can honestly say music has saved my life on multiple occasions.

When I'm overly stressed, depressed or having anxiety attacks I stop eating. I once six years ago went over a week and a half without eating anything. I started listening to my music and calmed down enough to finally eat something.

My favorite singers are very different. Usually, I prefer Shirley Manson of Garbage, but if I'm in the mood for feel-good music, I would rather hear Kate Voegele.

I love Darren Hayes as well, he is super talented and his music is totally feel good. He is such a good singer and I love male singers especially sexy ones.

I thought you were talking about literal "Art" like colored pencil sketches and paintings... Ahaha, terms confuse me easily.

But yes! To answer your question... A lot of rather upbeat tracks like some of Anamanaguchi's older albums, and a ton of mixes I have saved.

    Example:

Gregory and the Hawk on some occasions. Other times, Alt-j makes me feel pretty good.

Avril Lavigne is my bad mood music. Some of it's a little emo, and other songs are really playful with lots of attitude, so listening to her always makes me feel good.

Too many to list and they're all over the board!

Recently it's been Mika, The Andrews Sisters, Billy Talent, and Adam Lambert.
