I know many people don't enjoy written sex scenes, because they come across as clunky, awkward and try-hard, so it narrows down the list of good things to read! I know it's super difficult to find anything outside of modern literature too, but try and share some older stuff if you can Does anyone have any suggestions, or any books they loved? I read a book called About A Girl. It was lesbian and I kind of hated it because the ending was super stupid. Can't think of any other books right now sorry :/
Annie On My Mind is one I read a while ago that was really good. I also know The Miseducation of Cameron Post; I haven't read it but it's got pretty good reviews. Goodreads always has some gems too
To be honest I'm kind of sick of reading lesbian books with over the top emotion which just take themselves too seriously. Probably why I write my own haha
